I grew up in Utah but was looking for something different and a fresh look on life so I moved here in 1999. I took a few classes at the Community College and was fascinated by solar electric. I met my wife Norah who was here from Venezuela studying English. A friend introduced us and the rest was history. We got married and moved to Venezuela. I taught English there and found a great school where I got my certificate in business. For fun, we built cell phone chargers we sold to beach vendors. In 2003 we moved back. I worked at a glass company and at an engineering firm that designed, sold and installed solar. I had to beg to work there for free to get in the door. I was so into solar design and construction, I decided to finish my degree in Community Planning and Development with an emphasis on renewable energy graduating in 2006. When faced with the real world of this new industry the jobs weren't really out there so I started Arizona Solar Concepts and here we are now!
